Today is the last day of my long bank holiday weekend. Work tomorrow. Not long left though. I was planning to finish work on 12th of June, however I now changed it to 6th of June. Therefore I am working this week, next week and after that I am officially DONE.
On Sunday we went to Dunton Car Boot Sale. Edward and I love going there, especially if the weather is nice. Dunton Car Boot Sale is based in a proper country side, in a middle of nowhere. We did a lot of walking, but very pleasant walking. That day I’ve managed to take a nap after we came back, therefore was feeling quite well later. Edward made Filipino dinner- nice, calm family evening at home.
It is so much more difficult being pregnant recently. My energy levels are super low, I would happily have an afternoon nap every day if I could. I feel extremely big and heavy. I also have bunch of different kind of pains:
My pelvic pain got bad again. This is very unpleasant. I can hardly stand up sometimes. Wouldn’t wish it to anyone..
Funny and not, but I sometimes have pain in my armpits. I have never had this before – I truly feel like I am carrying tennis balls in there! So uncomfortable. I googled and apparently armpits pain is quite common in pregnancy because of big amount of fluids in women’s body. So I guess I’ll have to live with this for a while.
Another new pain – my feet. We went for shopping yesterday, to get bits and pieces for my hospital bag and later on we went to Ikea to get shelves unit. I walked quite a bit, but not that much – nothing unusual. However, my feet were proper killing me. I thought I would sit on that trolley in the shop and let Edward drive me. Was that painful. By the time we got back home I wanted to scream because of how much it was hurting. I woke up this morning still in pain, but not as horrible as yesterday. Went for some food shopping (just downstairs) and I felt completely drained again.
On Friday I will have another midwife’s appointment. they are becoming more frequent now towards the end of my pregnancy. I am actually looking forward to it. Hopefully no bad news this time.
Only just over one month left and our new family member will be here with us. Still so many things to prepare, but we are definitely getting there! Our little man is very welcome to join our family very soon. xxx
