Nearly two months since we moved to our new home, that we are renting.. We are now happy and settled here and I am not going to keep you waiting any longer. Even though the house is not yet perfectly picture-ready, I am sharing our home photos today. 🙂
The reason for the delay with this post is that there still are quite a lot of bits and pieces to sort out before we can relax and enjoy our days here. One of them is buying a double bed- Edward and I sleep on the mattress on the floor. We had been looking for a bed for quite a while now, but there is nothing, that we would really like. Hanging some pictures on the walls is also in my near future plans, I can never find time to do this… We also want to replace our computer table, as the one that we currently have is very big and doesn’t go with the whole look.
Lets get to the pictures then.
Kitchen is first on my list. I was very used to having an open plan kitchen, but in our new home the kitchen is separated. I don’t hate it being separately, but having my own house, I would probably prefer my kitchen open plan.Unless it is super large. In this particular kitchen I am loving the bright colours, wooden work top and pretty large window, that overlooks our quiet street. The kitchen itself is pretty small…
Living room is square shaped, has a floor to ceiling window/ sliding doors, that comes out to the garden. I really love dark brown, good quality wooden floor in a living room, but I would happily get rid of that purple wallpaper if the house was ours. But for now will just get some purple curtains at some point, to match the wall haha. 🙂 All furniture (except of the electric fire place) is ours. Sorry for the cluttery look- it’s all children stuff. Wouldn’t be our home without it. 🙂
Our stairs are covered in cream/ grey carpet and leads to the first floor, where Luka’s, Daniella’s and our rooms are as well as the family bathroom and on suite bathroom in our bedroom (there is one more toilet downstairs, so 3 in total!). I like the bright coloured walls, it gives the feeling of cleanness, that I really love.
Apologies, but I won’t be putting any pictures of Luka’s room, as it’s far too messy. 🙂 I clean Daniella’s room myself, so this one is bearable. 🙂 Once again, I am missing some cosiness here. Will have to think of how to decorate it to make it more lovely.
The view from Luka’s window.
Our bedroom is far from being complete. As I have mentioned before, we still need to get a double bed- we are looking for the white or grey storage bed, we also want to put TV in our bedroom, buy some pretty cushions and a nice bedspread. The wardrobe was already in the house, when we moved in.
In the picture below is our on suite bathroom with a standing up shower.
And finally our garden. It is not ideal, as it has got some weird triangle shape, but hey, we finally have a garden, that we can use for our BBQ’s, have breakfast or lunch on a hot summer day or get a little pool for Daniella! Really, could not be happier. 🙂
House has also got a garage, that I use as a storage at the moment. It is extremely handy to have! If you don’t remember how our home looks from outside, you can check out HERE (at the bottom of the post). xxx
