Happy days! I have managed to fix the main bug on my blog, that was turning photos into horrible quality, and few other small bugs. It means I can write again! I feel so relieved, I really missed it! 🙂
Since I haven’t been around for a while, I thought it would be nice to write a little update on what we’ve been up to during that time. If you follow me on social media, you probably know, that I am still alive and more less of what was going on in my life, as I do share pictures occasionally. But just in case you missed something, have a read below! 🙂
My eldest daughter Luka’s 13th birthday was at the end o August! She has decided not to have a party at home, but a fun day out. We went to Flip Out, which was so cool. I really wanted to jump too, but I didn’t. Ah, next time. 🙂
We had our lunch out and played some bowling. Then our dinner was @ McDonalds, as per Luka’s request. Was super-fun day!
About a week ago, on Sunday, we went to the circus! Daniella and Luka both really enjoyed. Even Harry was happily clapping throughout the first part of the performance. During the second part he was sleeping…
In terms of our family days out, we didn’t go too far recently. We were exploring around. One of the places, that deserves a mention is Cannock Chase Forest. It’s a lovely place with a lot of pine trees around, huge picnic area, Go Ape, cyclists trails, cute cafe, playground, etc. Kids loved it and so did we!
We went to a few children birthday parties in August- 2 of them were at the soft play and one in our friend’s home. They hired a huge bouncy castle, children really had a blast!
Our highlight of the month would definitely be bank holiday weekend @ Park Resorts Camber Sands Holiday Park (caravan holiday). We went there with Edward’s friends from London. I have to admit, I had so many doubts about this (5 hours!) road trip to Rye. Travelling for 5 hours with small kids didn’t seem such a good idea. But, to be honest, the journey itself was not as bad at all as I thought it would be. I think our babies are getting used to our long journeys ha ha. And the weekend at Park Resorts Holiday Park had exceeded our all expectations! We had a really great time, with really amazing company. And the weather was mostly great and hot hot hot!
On the way back home from Rye, we visited Edward’s parents in London. We stayed there for nearly the whole day, therefore our journey back home didn’t seem at all that long.
As you may know already, I have signed up for a gym a while ago! Honestly, this is so not me! I didn’t think I will last there for long (that’s why I opted for ‘no contract’ gym), but It’s been nearly 2 months now and I still go there at least 3 times a week and, most importantly, I do enjoy and I feel so motivated! I have more energy, I am less moody and I get to get out of the house!!! Love it!
And last, but not at all least – we are getting ready for family holiday in Turkey all inclusive hotel, which is already the upcoming Friday! I am so looking forward to this – no cooking, no cleaning for a week! We picked a family friendly 5* hotel, that we are really excited about. We started our holiday shopping a month ago and I am now wondering if we spent more on shopping rather than on actual holiday ha ha! 😀 See our holiday weather below! Don’t be too jealous. 😉
I probably won’t be blogging during the holiday, but I will be spamming with pictures on social media! I promise! So stay tuned. 🙂
