Happy 1st Birthday Harry

Today is a big day. Our youngest baby Harry celebrates his very 1st birthday. The whole year full of happiness, excitement, baby nappies, teething, rolling, sitting, crawling already passed by. Much faster, than I ever thought it would.

Happy 1st Birthday Harry

This boy has turned our life up side down. He definitely did. I remember so clearly, watching that fast appearing second blue line on my pregnancy test in shock. Gosh, I didn’t expect that coming. I remember then feeling hot and dizzy, having realised, that I was pregnant – I had to sit down on the sofa not to faint. And after Edward got back from work, I recall myself hesitating to tell him – we didn’t plan our little Harry, his appearance hit us by a huge surprise and messed our all plans up!

As much as I could not imagine my life with another baby then, I cannot see myself and I don’t want to even know where would we be without Harry now. Even though it took a while to get used to the fact about another baby coming into our family. I swear, I could not be happier right now. I just feel so complete. It feels like Harry was that missing piece of the puzzle, which has found its’ place. I finally feel, that I have everything I could ever wish for. Thanks to my children – I am feeling much richer than any billionaire on earth does – I really really do!

Happy 1st Birthday Harry

Harry himself, does not seem to be very excited about his 1st birthday, unfortunately. Poor baba has got a high temperature, for the third day in a row. I believe he is teething again. It’s not going too well this time. Harry’s temperature earlier had reached nearly 40 degrees! I gave him some medicines, but Harry threw everything out twice. One of those- all over me.

I am gutted, my baby is so poorly on his very 1st birthday, I really feel for him. 🙁 But even though we could not enjoy Harry’s day properly today, we will postpone it for Saturday. Edward’s Mum and Dad will be visiting, so we will have a small celebration with the family – just to pray Harry will be feeling better by then.

Happy 1st Birthday Harry

So very happy 1st birthday to our beautiful son. We love you so much!!! I know another year will go just as fast, so I will do everything I can to get most of our magic moments together. Many hugs, kisses, cuddles to you, our beautiful Son. xxxmy life, my passion

Harry’s 11 Months Old Development Update

I wanna cry! Harry is now 11 months old, next update will be closing the very first year of our fast growing baby boy. 🙁 Where did the time go??? I still remember like it was yesterday – me and my huge bump trying to survive June’s heat last year! It then felt, that my pregnancy is gonna last forever, but look at us now! 11 months old… I really really wanna cry… 🙁Harry's 11 Months Old Development Update

OK, I am gonna try to compose myself, as I need to get on with Harry’s 11 months old development update – I am already late – apologies for that. Where do I start.

Personality wise Harry is changing by the day! Most of the time he is cheerful and very smiley, he hardly ever cries. He knows how to fight for his toys though and wouldn’t give up easily. Will be screaming (not crying) till he gets it back (just like daddy ha ha). 😀Harry's 11 Months Old Development UpdateHarry is becoming so boyish. I can already see his preferences for cars over dolls. And I am so happy about it, as I was not sure of how Harry will be dealing with this. Our house is full of barbies, princesses, doll’s prams, baby dolls and other girly stuff- since the majority we are women in here. It is lovely to watch how our boy naturally chooses to play with his boyish stuff rather than girlish (even though I do find him sometimes biting Barbie’s hand or leg or trying to rip My Little Pony’s tail off). When we go for a walk he pays a lot of attention to passing cars- I have never noticed this when my girls were growing up.

Harry enjoys playing with Daniella. He definitely sees her as a play mate. As soon as Daniella enters the room, Harry’s face always lights up. I am very happy to see them enjoying each others company, I hope this will never change. Continue reading Harry’s 11 Months Old Development Update

Weekend @ Devon Cliffs Caravan Holiday Park | Haven Holiday

Following My Birthday post, I am now sharing our lovely experience – weekend (Friday to Monday) break to Devon Cliffs Caravan Holiday Park (Haven Holiday), which was gifted to me by my wonderful (sometimes) cousin. 🙂 He with the family has also joined us for a trip.

Devon Cliffs Caravan Holiday ParkDriving to Devon took us approximately 4 hours. It actually doesn’t feel as long, as it sounds. Daniella slept in the car for about an hour and Harry had a very short 20 minutes nap. Despite Harry (11 months old) was mostly awake throughout the journey, he was totally brilliant. Our baby was looking around, playing with his toys, having a laugh with his sister – he was such a good boy!

I actually start to really enjoy our long family journeys/ road trips. It is a perfect time to spend some quality time with each other- to talk, to sing, to play games. Yes, we sing and play games while we are all in the car for several hours. It’s really fun and time flies by! While on the way to Devon Cliffs Caravan Holiday Park, we played words guessing game (Hangman) and we actually had so much laugh. Then we were all getting crazy once Justin Timberlake’s song – Can’t Stop the Feeling started playing on the radio (that song really makes me dance!). Music was as loud as it possibly could be in the car and we were all dancing, jumping, screaming in the car trying to be cooler than each other! Edward was driving, but even he was trying to show off his dance moves ha ha.

Once we entered Devon Cliffs Caravan Holiday Park at around 6pm on Friday, we were quite amused – it looked like a proper holiday resort!  I’ve never been to a caravan holiday in England before, it was totally different from what I’ve imagined. We all got even more excited  and after collecting the keys were off to find our caravan, where we were going to stay together with my cousin’s family.

I was so pleasantly surprised again! Our caravan had a sea view and was really modern and cosy! There was a kitchen together with a living room, 3 bedrooms- 2 twins and 1 double, a toilet and a shower. It was really spacious enough for our 2 families. We unpacked our stuff and went for a little walk to look around. And it was great!

That evening we made BBQ dinner next to our caravan, loads of snacks and some drinks. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Day after, in the morning, we went to resort’s indoor swimming pools – kids were over the moon. In the afternoon, we had decided to visit Kingswear, which was approximately 1 hour drive away from Devon Cliffs Caravan Holiday Park and then the plan was to take a ferry to Dartmouth – my cousin has promised, that the town is really pretty. Pretty was not the right word to describe it, to be honest. It was beyond amazing! Kingswear and Dartmouth are perhaps the most beautiful places I have ever been to in England! The town, the views, the sea – it really takes your breath away. I was probably walking with my mouth widely open with the amazement it’s just indescribable. Incredibly beautiful place. I fell in love. 🙂 Continue reading Weekend @ Devon Cliffs Caravan Holiday Park | Haven Holiday

My Birthday

As much as it hurt’s, it was my birthday on Monday – I am now 34 years old *sob*.

Initially, we didn’t have any plans to celebrate. I am not a massive fan of my birthdays anyway. I don’t like getting old. But because the weather forecast was promising a good weather (which is the reason to celebrate itself), we have decided to have a relaxing day in the garden with some bbq, a glass of wine – lazy and stress-free.

In the morning, however, we made a ‘tiny’ amended our plans. After I was greeted with a glass of bubbly (for breakfast!) and some cute birthday cake and when family sang me a happy birthday song for about 5 times, I got in the celebrational mood (must be champagne) and I have decided, that I am actually up for a little party, instead of so planned relaxing day in the garden. It’s my birthday, so my wish is my command – we texted last minute invitations to our friends and we were delighted to find out, they were all up for the idea! Woohoo! 🙂

My Birthday Eve
This picture was taken on my birthday eve. We were walking to our local pub, hoping to get some dinner (we ended up in Mcdonalds, as the pub stopped serving food). I simply forgot to take photos on my actual birthday, so at least I am posting this one 🙂

So our plans for a relaxing, quiet day at home turned into pretty stressful last minute preparations – guests were about to come at 2pm. We still wanted to catch that little bit of sun instead of staying indoors. But the time was pushing – we needed to do some shopping, prepare the house as well as ourselves and kids, marinate the meat for bbq and get snacks ready. For a split second it crossed my mind, why did I do it to myself on my own birthday haha.

But it was so worth the effort. As soon as our friends arrived, our stressful morning turned into a lovely afternoon – chatting, eating, enjoying the sun while sipping a drink.

I even received some birthday presents! I really didn’t expect it, as it all was so last minute organised. But to my surprise, I was gifted with some shopping vouchers, flowers, sweets and macaroons (I love macaroons!!!) and my amazing cousin gifted me a Haven Caravans weekend stay, that we will be going to this weekend! How amazing is that???

What can I say, my birthday was a success. It’s actually wonderful people who made it special. I have a lot to be grateful for.my life, my passion

I am Officially Unemployed *meh*

I am Officially Unemployed *meh*Leaving our hectic life in London for a fresh start 160 miles away has left me with no choice, but to resign from my Front of House Administrator’s position @ one of Hilton’s family hotels back in London.Travelling from Staffordshire to London for work would be simply impossible – it’s too far away (or I don’t get paid enough to cover travelling costs ha ha). It means, I won’t be coming back to my working place, where I spent the whole past 5 years. No denying, was a big part of my life- with ups and downs, but I loved it regardless.

I have already resigned from my position at the beginning of this month and I am now officially unemployed (I hate to say this) or FULL-TIME MUMMY in other words. It took some time to get used to the thought and I actually feel pretty devastated. I am already missing it. 🙁

It feels very strange knowing, that I will be unemployed for God knows how long. We have no one around to look after children, so I will have to wait for Harry to get old enough to start the nursery and only then I can start looking for a job again. Do I feel happy? Strangely not extremely. As much as I love my children and enjoy spending time with them, I often feel, that I also miss adult’s company during the day. I love my babies more than anything in the world, but I feel that this time at home is slowing down my personal development.

I am Officially Unemployed *meh*I am  scared, that in the long term I will become one of those mums,  moaning about someones shoes put in the wrong place, plate in the sink and not in a dishwasher or eating biscuits in a living room (I already complain about all of these actually 😀 ). I desperately need to get out of the house ha ha.I am Officially Unemployed *meh*

But if you think, that I am bored at home, you are very wrong. My day is as busy as it can get. Looking after 3 children it’s a hard job itself. Cleaning, laundry, feeding, putting to sleep. The only break throughout my day that I have is when Daniella and Harry are both asleep, I then make a cup of tea for myself and either work on my blog (it’s not only about writing posts or many technical issues to fix as well), or on another project of mine, that requires more of my time, than I normally have. My head is buzzing with ideas, but I can never find enough time to make them live. 🙁

I am Officially Unemployed *meh*Sooner than I realise, Daniella and Harry are up from their afternoon nap again, Luka is back from school and it’s then time to prepare dinner. Then Edward comes back from work, we eat and the day is nearly over.

I punish myself for not going out enough during the week. But I am just so panicky, that something will remain undone (one of those obsessed mummy symptoms). Or that my little project (that one day hopefully might turn into some additional income) will remain neglected. But (once again) I miss some adult talk. I miss seeing people, dressing up and going out to work. I honestly really hope, that my unemployment won’t last for long. Once Harry is a little older, mummy will start searching for a new job. 🙂

Are you, or have ever been a full-time Mummy? I will be very keen to find out if you felt the same or any different? How do/did you organize your day? Let me know in the comments bellow. 🙂my life, my passion
