Since I had quite a long break from blogging, I thought it would be nice to write an update on how do we do.
So let’s start with Daniella.
She is 16.5 month old now (can you believe???). She is such a little cutie… It’s crazy how fast time goes.. Daniella starts talking little by little. No sentences yet, but she can say quite few words now… Such like mama, dad, Salsa (our dog), Luka, pig (her favourite), shoes, baby and so on.
When Daniella wants something, she points with her little finger like a princess and we have no choice, just to get it for her!
Daniella’s eating is going very good. She can spoon-feed herself quite well now. She wouldn’t want anyone to feed her. Daniella is not fussy for food, eats pretty much everything.. Sometimes we even have to worry that she eats too much, as if she likes something a lot, she would bossily ask for food again and again.
Our princess loves her sleep. She goes to bed at around 9.30 in the evening, sleeps throughout the whole night and wakes up at around 7.30am. Then goes back to sleep at 11am for 2 or sometimes 3 hours! But that is not it. at 4.30pm – 5pm she becomes sleepy again and has another nap until 6.30pm.
My older daughter Luka (10 years).
…Is slowly becoming a teenager.. She has always had a strong personality, but now it starts to come out more and more. I need to have a good thinking on this as losing my temper with her all the time wont do any good. She is a sweetheart though and I love her so much.
Edward and I
We have now been together for more than 3 years. I am still very much in love with him, I do hope he feels the same. He is amazing man, I am so lucky to have him. We are thinking if having another baby at some point. Not yet, many other plans before that. But hopefully before I’m 40… So looking forward. 🙂
We had an amazing Christmas this year so as New Years Eve. On Christmas we went to Stoke-on-Trent to my cousins house. Had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends (not mentioning the headache I had after drinking too much of a red wine).
New Years Eve we had in our home. Cosy and quiet, with a few close friends, my cousin and his wife to be.
In general it’s been quite quiet period for us. Very family orientated, but that’s what we love!
I am glad to be back to my blogging. xx
We finally decided to visit Old MacDonald’s farm in Brentwood! We passed it so many times and it did look so much fun, we had plans to visit for a while! So when we found a good deal on Groupon -tickets only £6 per person (normally £13), we could not resist! And we didn’t regret it at all!
Since it is half term and Saturday, it was pretty busy out there, but certainly not too packed. Daniella just fall asleep when we arrived, so we firstly had a good walk with Edward and a snack in their little cafe. Food – not impressed at all. My Hot Dog was not hot at all. Cheap tasteless sausage and bread. Edwards Hamburger with Bacon was very average too. We also had a tea and some chips on the side, we paid £13 for all this (you also have to pay for ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard separately!). Not worth. It’s worth bringing your own snacks – we will do that next time.
We had a wonderful family Sunday today! We decided to decorate a Christmas Tree. last year we had a real tree, but this year got an artificial one. We bought this yesterday at The Range shop. For our Christmas Tree we paid £50 (was discounted from £60). We bought our decorations from Ikea, plus we had some from last year. Christmas lights bought at The Range shop too. Found a really good deal – 360 lights half price – £24 only!
I still believe that Christmas is probably the best, most beautiful time of the year! Decorating Christmas Tree is super exciting for all of us – Edward, Luka, myself even Daniella was in that Christmasy mood – we even played some Christmas songs while decorating! Ha ha 🙂
After all efforts, proper team work, we have a result which we are very happy with! It feels so cozy in the house. So excited about Christmas this year – Daniella is now much more aware of what’s happening around, it will be proper proper family celebrations. 🙂
